Dr. Heather Riedy is an Arizona native and attended the University of Arizona where she received a Bachelors of Science from the Department of Veterinary Science and Microbiology as well as a minor in Chemistry. She then attended the Royal School of Veterinary Studies at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, where her family originates. There, she received her BVM&S and became a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2014. She graduated with Distinction and received the James T. Baxter award for veterinary aptitude and academics.
After returning to Arizon, Dr. Riedy has practiced with a focus on surgery and emergency medicine. She has a special interest in Valley Fever and has participated in research and publications. Dr. Riedy also founded a non-profit called Spark’s Mission Animal Coalition and travels to remote areas to provide medicine to those in need.
In her spare time, she enjoys tennis, yoga, horseback riding, hiking and traveling. Most of all, she enjoys spending time with her pets, Mulberry, Lemon, and Islay.
